While not comprehensive DBT* this approach focuses on practical, evidence-based techniques tailored to individual needs and goals.

The DBT Skills & Process Group offers a structured space to:

*Comprehensive DBT is an intensive treatment model designed for individuals with severe emotional dysregulation or chronic self-harming behaviors. It includes four components: individual therapy, group skills training, phone coaching, and a therapist consultation team. This approach follows a structured protocol to address both life-threatening behaviors and skill deficits, providing continuous support and accountability.

Meet Heather Johnson,

Heather Johnson is an experienced therapist with a deep interest in how biological, social, and emotional factors shape our lives. With extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Heather specializes in treating personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

Her therapeutic approach focuses on creative collaboration—helping clients identify their priorities and overcome behaviors that block their path to success. Heather is also trained in Intuitive Eating and the Health at Every Size framework, offering a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to healing. Heather is foundationally trained in DBT and has previously provided comprehensive DBT to diverse populations.

Heather holds a B.S. in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Before becoming a therapist, Heather worked in the entertainment industry, where she honed her passion for helping others grow through collaboration.
