Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Job Description

Reports to: Clinical Director

About The Position:

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Registered Dietitian delivers clinical services to clients with eating disorders and/or mental health disorders including individual, group and/or family education sessions; provides appropriate documentation of services; participates in training and supervision as needed.

Per diem with intention to move into part-time.
Estimated 6-20 hours per week, depending on client census.
IOP is planned to be 5:30-9:00 pm Monday-Thursday and Fridays 1:30-4:45 pm.
RD may have clients and/or groups in outpatient, Transitional Aftercare and IOP program.
In-person in Encino.

Job Duties:

Facilitate individual, family education and group sessions as assigned in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Transitional Aftercare Program and/or group practice outpatient services.
Develop individualized dietary meal plans for clients.
Oversee implementation of nutrition and dietary services.
Supervise and participate in meals/snacks with clients as scheduled.
Coordinate internally among AlignED Care team and externally with appropriate contacts.
Completes clinical documentation in accordance with program requirements.
Participates in treatment team meetings as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$60/hourly

Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of experience working with eating disorders.
Current clear registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Specific Skills/Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

General Skills and Requirements

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
